- KEEPS GREASE IN & WATER OUT - Bearing Buddy has a spring-loaded piston that keeps a steady 3 psi of pressure inside your hub to hold grease in and block out water and dust. Bearing Buddy limits the pressure to 3 psi, preventing overfilling and over pressurization. Without this feature, the inner seal will be damaged
